This week (9th -15th June 2025) is Carers Week. Carers Week is an annual campaign aimed at raising awareness of the vital role that unpaid Carers play in society. It seeks to highlight the challenges they face, promote support for them, and encourage individuals to recognize their own caring responsibilities.
Headway Ayrshire offer support to Carers and Family Members of survivors of brain injury in a variety of ways, namely through one-to-one appointments at our Outreach Clinics, through group discussion and peer support at our monthly Carers Meetings, and by providing Carers Education Presentations, which inform and advise.
